I was born, grew up, and went to school in Lunenburg. After high school, I took a two year Auto Motive Repair course at the Bridgewater Community College from which I graduated in 1973. After which, I worked for 17 years at a Chrysler Dealership. During this time I attended N.S.I.T. in Halifax on a apprenticeship program in 1974 and 1975 for five weeks each. In completion of this, I wrote for my Provincial Mechanics License which I received. While I continued to work at the Chrysler dealership, I attended Chrysler technological schools in Halifax and Moncton several times each year. In 1990, I left the dealership to go on my own and started my own business. This was in my small garage and as the business grew, I built a new and updated building. I also purchased diagnostic equipment and scanner at which time I attended a five week fuel injection and diagnostic school to keep up to date with newer vehicles. My clientele has been increasing each year. So with this new Terra Clean Machine, I hope to better maintain my present customers and attract more people that are concerned about maintaining their vehicle to perform better and last longer, while protecting the environment. With the emission laws coming to Eastern Canada in a few short years, maintaining the intake systems and exhaust emissions will save the customer on costly repairs to the vehicle(s) to bring it up to emission laws standards when it is introduced.
